The insole is washable – hand wash at 40 °C.
The Norwegian wool insole keeps feet warm and dry.
Sheep's wool is a natural fibre with many good properties.
Wool fibre repels dirt, is hard-wearing and above all insulates well.
Wool is also very good at absorbing moisture, and insulates even when damp.
These qualities make wool an excellent material for insoles.
The insole is made of 100% pure Norwegian sheep's wool. The fibres are bound into a springy felt using a needling technique.
It has no seams, so it can be trimmed for a special fit (for example in Nesnalobben and Femundlabben).
The underside is rubber-coated so the insole stays in place in the shoe.
Woven-in scrim makes the insole steady and stable.
