... Frode Goa is a surfer, skater and board-sports entrepreneur from Jæren/Stavanger.
He is behind the clothing brand and shop Kant, founded in Stavanger in 2013. Kant is known for its strong local roots in Jæren, and for its own screen-printing workshop where clothes and caps are hand-printed in the shop on Øvre Holmegate, also known as Fargegata. Goa also founded the skateboard brand SHIT in 2000, and runs the SHIT brand store just around the corner from Kant.
Alongside his businesses he is an active competitive surfer and has represented Norway on the national surf team, including at the World Championships.
In the Kant concept, Goa combines craftsmanship, local production, a seriously good mood and an outspoken healthy scepticism towards trends. Here you will find Figgjo porcelain, mum's knitted beanies and a fine mix of iconic motifs from Rogaland.
His background in surf and skate, combined with hands-on experience from textile production and retail, makes him a valuable sparring partner in the Nesnalobben universe.
