Warm feet in Nesnalobben – Jakt & Fiske tested the shoes for a whole year.

It is always good when traditional products get noticed and tested in practice. The Norwegian hunting and fishing magazine Jakt & Fiske recently reviewed our classic Nesnalobben, and the verdict is clear: this is still the footwear that keeps people warm through the winter.

Nesnalobben got a top score in Jakt & Fiske

The tester wore the high model for a whole year and says he never had cold feet. Nesnalobben is described as perfect for dry cold, with rubber overshoes as an option when there is a lot of wet snow. The felt also holds heat well, even if the shoes get a little damp.

A GOOD FIT
Thanks to solid lacing, the shoe sits well up the leg. The polyurethane sole with angled grooves gives secure grip on hard-packed snow, even though the pattern is not very coarse. One extra detail the tester points out is that Nesnalobben moulds to your foot – as long as you wear the same shoe on the same foot every time.

BEST FOR SHORT TRIPS
Nesnalobben is not made for the longest marches, but is excellent for shorter winter trips, at camp, in the cabin or on a hunting stand. Exactly where it has always belonged – a faithful companion in the Norwegian winter cold.
